ACL is able to draw on the resources of the 10th largest not-for-profit health care system, AdvocateAurora Health, which uniquely positions us to provide superior service on a wide range of clinical, anatomic pathology, and analytical testing, including molecular diagnostics and more. Phlebotomist Roles

Phlebotomist I & II

Our phlebotomists help patients in clinic and hospital settings by playing a critical role in collecting patient specimens for laboratory analysis. Your friendly, helpful demeanor will help create a positive patient experience, while the work you're doing ensures every patient gets the care they need. As a Phlebotomist II, you will continue to grow your skills and knowledge while also helping to share your expertise with other phlebotomists within ACL Laboratories.

Phlebotomist Outreach

Our Phlebotomy Outreach team has a special role in collecting specimens from our outreach clients, which include nursing home patients, home healthcare patients, industrial clients, police departments and more. These phlebotomists use their expertise to independently perform specimen collection in external environments to meet the unique needs of our outreach patients. 

Phlebotomist Oncology

The Phlebotomy Oncology team works closely with the oncology nursing team to obtain specimens from the oncology patient population.  This teams works closely with the patients on regular venipuncture collections but also specializes in collection from the patient’s port sites. 

Phlebotomist Pathology Technical

This small group of highly skilled phlebotomists works in conjunction with the Pathology Physicians.  They work in a variety of settings, including surgical sites to collect and prepare tissue samples for further analysis.

Phlebotomist Lead

As a Phlebotomist Lead, you will use your skills and expertise in the phlebotomy field to solve complex problems, while serving as a resource, an informal mentor and help to train and grow new phlebotomists.
